Executive coaching at MCD begins with an initial no-cost meeting to discover your background and learn about where you’d like to be developed. In time, Michael guides the process to draw out your personal vision and business/organizational vision. The process typically looks like monthly or bi-monthly meetings, and this regularity brings accountability and thought development that is consistent.

It’s been said, “SO GOES THE LEADERSHIP, SO GOES THE CULTURE.” The epicenter of this truth is your leadership team. Michael is hyper focused on the following elements of executive team development:
- Vision-casting, clarity and alignment
- Development of mission, vision, and values
- Building systems around core values applied to where you hire, fire, recognize and reward your team members
- Being an external voice to reinforce the organization’s primary leaders so they don’t have to be the only one confirming direction of the organization
- Working with individual members of the leadership team to increase their leadership tools/capacity – a value for both the individual as well as to the strength of the leadership team

Some organizations bring Michael in for Vision Days or individual events to build unity over the direction of the company, align with company culture, or to focus the organization on an area of growth.
Michael believes that “what you focus on grows,” and when a company focuses on the development of their people, this is the path to growing in knowledge and practice.
Topics for speaking engagements can be from Michael’s existing base of content, or, if you have a particular topic that is an area of growth, he can customize the content of the presentation around this.
Michael is a collaborative speaker in that he retains command of the room and yet involves response and participation during his sessions to get people thinking, and learning from other’s responses.
